Kerala Engineering, Agriculture and Medical (KEAM) is a state level UG entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination Kerala for the admission to the various UG courses offered by the institutions located in the limits of Kerala state. The examination is also known as the CEE Kerala.

Applications are invited for the Entrance Examinations for admission to the following Degree Courses in various Professional Colleges in the State for the year 2015-16.

(a) Medical (i) MBBS (ii) BDS (iii) BHMS (iv) BAMS (v) BSMS.

(b) Agriculture (i) BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture (ii) BSc. (Hons.) Forestry.

(c) Veterinary BVSc. & AH.

(d) Fisheries BFSc.

(e) Engineering B.Tech. [including B.Tech. (Agri. Engg.), B.Tech. (Food Engg.) Courses under the Kerala Agricultural University and B.Tech. (Dairy Science & Tech.) under the Kerala Veterinary & Animal Sciences University.

(f) Architecture B.Arch. (No Entrance Examination. Admission is based on merit as assessed by equal weightage to NATA Score and marks/grades in the Qualifying Examination).

The CEE Kerala government has announced the KEAM 2015 entrance examination notification on dated 25.09.2014 regarding examination date. The KEAM 2015 entrance examination will be held on 20th April 2015 across the various centres of the state and above said major cities.

KEAM 2015 Application Form

KEAM 2015 application form will be available in the month of January 2015 on the official website of the CEE Kerala. The students may get the application form from the official site before the last date of availability. The form will be available on site for maximum two weeks. The candidates may request for the application form via post by sending a DD of the respective amount to the board.

Eligibility

For appearing the KEAM 2015 examination the candidates must have cleared the 10+2 examination with PCM (for engineering courses) or PCB (for all courses except engineering courses) with 50% in core subject (Biology/Mathematics) and 50% in total aggregate. Those candidates having engineering diploma with minimum 50% marks are also eligible to apply. The candidates must have the age of 17 years or above as on or before 31st December 2014.
Application Process

The candidates would have to register themselves on the portal and download the application form. Fill all required details in application form including the DD details and take the print out of filled form. Then send the filled application form including the DD and supportive documents (academic, residential and category certificates) within the time to the address given below:

Application Fees

The application fees for the KEAM 2015 entrance examination is Rs. 800/- for the general and OBCs category and Rs. 400/- for the SC/ST candidates. The application fee can be submitted via DD or cash payment to the selected post offices.Security Card, Prospectus and an envelope can be obtained from selected Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State, on payment of the prescribed fee (Rs.1000/-for General & Rs.500/- for SC/ST as the case may be), by cash. List of Post Offices that issue Security cards and Prospectus is appended to this notification. Security card will not be available at the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. The Security card consists of a KEY NUMBER, which is inside the Security panel and not visible before scratching the silver panel. There is a Serial Number on each Security card. The Key number and Serial Number are unique and are required for filling up of payment details in the online application.

Examination Pattern & Schedule

The examination will be consisted of two papers for the engineering and medical each. Each paper will comprise in 120 multiple type questions of 480 marks. Each correct will carry the four marks. There is no negative marking. The duration of paper is 2 ½ hours. The examination will be held on time at 10:00 am – 12:30 pm as per the following schedule:


Syllabus

The KEAM 2015 entrance examination syllabus has been extracted from the 10th and the 12th academic syllabus of central and state board of India. The students are suggested to get the preparation from the 12th syllabus, previous papers and the guides available in the market.

Selection Process

The selection will be made on the basis of merit rank calculated by the marks obtained in the KEAM 2015 examination and the marks obtained in the 12th examination in the ratio of 50:50.

Admit Card

The Admit Cards of Entrance Examinations can be downloaded from the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in from 23.03.2015. The printout of the admit card thus obtained will have to be produced at the time of examination. Admit Cards will not be sent by post from this office to the candidate

We have rumors saying that this semester exam will start by 25th November 2014. But some academic supervisor suggest that the exam will start after 25th,a week later.

 Anyway this is the time to buckle your shoes, and belts and prepare for the exam . We suggest reading the book of Balaguruswamy, will surely guide you to achieve a good mark in the section A. So lets start studding.

Important Points to Remember


  • The following is the provisional list of successful candidates in the First   semester PG Degree Examinations MA / MSc / MCom / MSW held in March 2014(prior to 2013 Admn.)
  • The total marks secured by each successful candidate is shown against the candidate code
  • Mark sheets will be issued to the respective centers within a week.
  • Originals of the qualifying certificates shall be forwarded to the University for verification of eligibility conditions. Mark list will not be issued to those whose fees are not yet remitted to the University.
  • The mark lists will not be issued to the candidates in respect of whom     there are defects to be rectified and whose fees are due although their     results have been provisionally released now.
  • Results of those candidates who have not produced their Eligibility           certificates/Qualifying certificates have been withheld.
  • Application for scrutiny of answer books should reach the Deputy Registrar, Examinations (IV) along with the prescribed fee on or before 19-11-2014.
  • The results will be available on www.keralauniveristy.ac.in
  • Draft mark lists can be downloaded from the site, exams.kerala               university.ac.in, and it may be used to apply for scrutiny of answer book.

Maths Talent Search Scholarship Examination

13th Maths Talent Search Scholarship Examination (MTSE 2014) (for students from Std. I to XII)

Kerala Ganitha Sasthra Parishad is conducting Maths Talent Search Scholarship Examination (MTSE) for students studying in state, CBSE and ICSE syllabus. Students from Std. I to XII can participate in the Scholarship Examination. There will be separate examination for each standard. There will be a total of 34 rank lists including Malayalam medium and English medium. Rank lists are prepared separately for state, CBSE and ICSE syllabus. Scholarships and certificates will be awarded for the first 10 rank holders from each list. Moreover the first rank holder from each list will be honored with gold medal. If there is tie for any rank in the final examination, the marks obtained by the students in the previous examination will be considered. if the tie is not broken yet, selection will be done by lot. All the selection procedures will be under the supervision of an expert committee and the decision of the committee will be final.

the questions for the examination are prepared based on the maths text of each standard. Portions to be covered up to 5th December will be included. students can make use of the MTSE guides published by Ganitha sasthra Parishad.

The first 5 rank holders in each category in the previous examination are selected for the final examination. Scholarships’ are given to the first 10 rank holders in each category in the final examination. In addition to that students scoring more than 80% marks in both previous and final examination will be given certificates with grades marked.
