Assistant Commandant In Indian Coast Guard
The Indian Coast Guard formerly known as ICG is the fourth branch of the armed force of India. Its mission is the protection of India's maritime interests and enforcement of maritime law, with jurisdiction over the territorial waters of India, including its contiguous zone and exclusive economic zone. ICG was formally established on 18/08/1978 as an armed force of the Union (aka BSF, ITBP, CISF) by the Coast Guard Act, 1978. It operates under the Ministry of Defence. The Coast Guard works in close cooperation with the Indian Navy, Department of Fisheries, Department of Revenue (Customs) and the Central and State police forces.
Qualification/Educational Criteria :
Qualified Graduate Degree in Law, Science Engineering or Technology or Diploma in Telecommunication Industrial & Producation of any recognized Institute or Organization.
Pay Scale/Salary(in Rs.) :
Selected candidates would be eligible to get the pay scale of around Rs.15,600 to 39,100/- Per Month.
Mode of Selection :
Selection candidates will be called for Written Examination.
