Inviting Young Artists from CBSE affiliated schools - Lets Roll it !
The CBSE Board on 19.09.2013 has announced that they are inviting Young artist from CBSE affiliated schools to participate in the program
The first ever initiative of the board to invite young artists to contribute art works for CBSE publications paid rich dividends. All the school participated wholeheartedly and the board received a large number of entries. The screening committee finally selected the four best entries which adorned the CBSE Diary 2013. The art works were indeed distinct in terms of colour, forms, lines, texture, space and organisation. Encouraged by the success of this initiative once again the board invites young artist to showcase their work of art.

Eligibility Criteria
- The scheme is open to all CBSE affiliated schools across the world.
- Entries from students studying in Classes IX to XII may be sent along with details of the students and two coloured passport size photos.
- The Principal may authenticate that the art work is original.
- The art work must be related to themes on education.
- The content should not hurt sentiments of an individual or community and should not be anti-national or communal.
- The art work should be in A-3 size and done in oil/pastel/water/poster colours.
- Entries should be packed carefully to ensure intactness of paper and colour.
- Three best art worksper school can be sent.
- Online entries may be sent only in JPEG format to rs.procbse@gmail.com
Selection Process
- A screening committee will be set up to select the best entries.
- More than one entry may also be selected from one school.
- Selected entries will be suitably acknowledged by theboard.
- Selected artists will receive Commendation Certificate from the board.
- Selected entries will become the property of the board.
- Schools or participant will not use the same work for any
other purpose.
